Commonwealth Games Organizations further commit to their core values of gender equality, inclusion and diversity with the implementation of theirGender Equality Strategy ahead of the Gold Coast 2018 Games thisApril.  

For the first time in history, a major multi-sport Games will host an equal number of medal events for men and women. Women will hold more officiating and technical roles at the upcoming Games and the CGF’sWomen Coaching Internship Program will reserve 20 positions to grow women’s coaching capacity across the Commonwealth. These Games are set to be the most inclusive International Games of their kind.
