Volleyball Canada – Volleyball Canada confirmed the 14-athlete roster for the Senior Women’s Continental Championship, which serves as a World Championship qualification tournament.

The four-team international event will be hosted at the Langley Events Centre, Sept. 28 to 30.  The teams that finish in the top two from this tournament will earn a spot in the 2018 FIVB World Championships to be held in Japan next October.

The women’s program, under the guidance of head coach Marcello Abbondanza, is in its first year based at its training centre at the Richmond Oval in BC. This year, the women’s national team competed in the Pan Am Cup in Peru, Women’s Grand Prix in Argentina, Puerto Rico and on home soil at the Oval.
