“I was very happy because we added new mastery to my routines and I was successful in performing them,” said Vivier who trains out of Viva RG. “In finals my goal is to do clean routines and better turns.”

In the senior individual all-around, Athena Tsaltas of Keswick, ON was the top finisher in 5th, while teammate Jaedyn Andreotti of Kelowna, BC finished right behind her in 6th. Athletes from the USA took the top two spots on the podium, with Colombia claiming the bronze.

Combined with Kalena Soehn of Red Deer, AB the athletes combined to finish 5th in the women’s team competition.

“Our team worked very hard and very well together and made a lot of finals, and even got a few medals, which was quite a successful outing considering we had a relatively unexperienced team here,” said national trampoline team coach Dave Ross.
