True Sport Foundation is a proud partner of Giving Tuesday
True Sport – (Ottawa, ON – November 24, 2016) – The True Sport Foundation is pleased to announce that it has become a registered partner of Giving Tuesday (a national giving day taking place November 29, 2016) again this year.
Each year, Giving Tuesday – a Canadian movement for giving and volunteering – takes place the day after Cyber Monday. Fondly referred to as the “opening day of the giving season,” it is a day where charities, companies and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes and think about others.
The True Sport Foundation is dedicated to the notion that good sport can make a great difference. Canadians who share this belief are encouraged to make a donation to the True Sport Foundation. Donations will support programs and initiatives designed to give people, communities and organizations the means by which to leverage the many benefits of sport from a platform of shared values and principles. Donors will receive a charitable tax receipt from the True Sport Foundation.
