Triathlon BC – Triathlon BC and MicroPro Sienna announced Friday that MicroPro Sienna® Treated Wood and its manufacturer CanWel have become an official partner of Triathlon BC, the governing body of multisport in British Columbia, and home to the 2017 ITU World Multisport Championships. “Connecting MicroPro Sienna with Triathlon BC is an example of investing in the community, using our resources and effort towards development and long-term excellence,” said Steve Marshall, Vice President, Treated Wood Division, CanWel, himself an accomplished triathlete. “Sharing the same vision of excellence, we are thrilled that MicroPro Sienna will be featured prominently throughout Triathlon BC’s branding, in addition to playing an important role in the sport’s growth and success.” The newly formed relationship will help drive Age Group and High Performance athletes towards the top step of the podium, with MicroPro Sienna backing a series of development clinics for both youth and adult athletes throughout the 2017 season.

How it Works
MicroPro Sienna is pressure treated using a patented wood preservative process that uses micronized copper to provide durability to wood used in exterior applications. Because solid copper is injected into the wood at a microscopic level, without the use of solvents, less is released into the environment.
