Sport Nova Scotia – WHAT: The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron will open its doors to the public for their Annual Sail Able BBQ. For the 12th year in a row, attendees will have the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the salt air or take control of one of the accessible Martin 16 sailboats. Para-rowing, para-surfing and para-canoe kayak will also be available. The “try- it” sessions will be followed by a free BBQ hosted by a live DJ.

WHO: This event is hosted by Parasport NS and the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.

WHEN: The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday June 23, with Sunday June 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as the rain date.

WHERE: The Royal Canadian Yacht Squadron, 376 Purcells Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P 1C7. Accessible Bus Route #15 on Metro Transit.
