Equestrian Canada – Ottawa, ON, Oct. 10, 2018 – As the leading Canadian dressage athlete at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon 2018 (WEG) in Mill Spring, NC, Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu of Saint-Bruno, QC earned the title of September 2018 Red Scarf Equestrian Dressage Athlete of the Month.

Performing in the Grand Prix on Sept. 13 for her WEG debut, Fraser-Beaulieu earned an impressive score of 70.016% with All In (Tango x Damiro), the 13-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding she co-owns with her father, Craig Fraser and husband, Marc-Andre Beaulieu.

Highlighted by high scores for individual movements, including 7.9 for one-tempis and 7.1 for extended trot, Beaulieu’s performance earned 33rd place, just shy of the top 30 invited forward into the Grand Prix Special.

“I am very honored to have been awarded the Red Scarf award for September,” said Fraser-Beaulieu. “For my first time at the World Equestrian Games, I was very proud of my results and we represented Canada well.
