Canada Soccer – Individual tickets to the Canada v USA Women’s International Friendly on 9 November in Vancouver go on sale on Wednesday, 5 July at 10am PT via Ticketmaster.ca.

“We haven’t had the chance to play the USA in Vancouver since 2012, and I think for all of us it’s the one game that we all look forward to and I know the fans will turn out,” said Head Coach John Herdman. “All of us are hoping for a sell out crowd for this one. The opportunity to play the number one team in the world doesn’t come around too often, and if we are going to rise to number one we are going to have to beat the US, so why not start here (in Vancouver).”

It will be a clash between arch rivals when Canada hosts USA at BC Place in the first of two matches between the North American foes, with a second match set for 12 November in the USA.  With Canada determined to reach the top of the FIFA world rankings, the battle between the world’s top ranked USA and fourth ranked Canada will be must-see matches.

“These are pretty exciting times. We are continuing to establish ourselves as a leading soccer nation, including the unprecedented rise of this team to number four in the world,” said Steven Reed, Canada Soccer President. “We are confident this match will be another exciting battle.”
