Racquetball Canada – Winnipeg, November 4, 2017 – Racquetball Canada’s Junior National Team has arrived in Minneapolis where they will be competing in the International Racquetball Federation Junior World Championships. The championship tournament runs from November 5 to 11.

Eleven athletes from across Canada will be competing in singles and doubles events in the U14, U16 and U18 age divisions. Team members were selected based on results at the 2017 Canadian Junior Championships held in Leamington earlier this year.

Team Canada has a history of success at the junior world level. In 2016 Canada won three bronze medals, one in singles and two in doubles. Canada finished sixth in both the boys and girls standings, as well as the overall team standing.
