Golf Ontario – 3rd Day of Ontario Junior Boys’ Match Play to take place tomorrow at Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club.

The 3rd day of the Ontario Jr. (U19) Boys’ Match Play Championship to take place Wednesday, July 18, with the Final taking place on the morning of Thursday, July 19th.

Round 2 and 3 took place today, the morning started off cool and windy.  Many of the matches went to playoffs today, the players were extremely fairly matched.

Jack Alward and Sam Roy Tee off at 8 am followed by Jack Ferguson and Cody Clark who Tee off at 8:08 am.  Matthew Anderson and Patrick Maloney tee off at 8:16 am and Joshua Hayes and Jeffrey Fang tee off at 8:24 am Thursday morning.

About the Junior Boys’ Match Play Championship

The Junior Boys’ Match Play Championship has been contested since 1998. Male golfers under 19 years of age before August 1 are eligible to compete. The field is determined by results from four qualifiers. Notable past champions include Matt McQuillan, Justin Shin, Stephane Dubois, and Jon Boncoddo.
