Serena Clare Leipsic Buchwald came into diving at age 11. The Winnipeg-born athlete had just quit gymnastics and was looking for a sport that involved flipping. In her second year of diving, Serena had a brush with some of the best divers around when Winnipeg played host to the Senior Nationals competition, allowing her to dive with and watch these athletes compete. Serena’s signing will take place on November 8 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Applied Research Centre Boardroom, at the Active Living Centre, at the University of Manitoba, and we would be happy if you could attend.

Remarks will be made by the Canadian Sport Centre Manitoba’s General Manager, Jeff Powell, from the experts that have been working with Serena here at CSCM and from Serena’s coach, Dallas Ludwick. After the signing and formal program, there will be an opportunity for photos and interviews.

An agenda is available upon request.

Please note that paid parking is available in the ALC lot off of Dafoe Road, Y lot and across University Crescent in U lot. Click here to view a map of all parking options.
