Competition Wrapped Up Today at the Canadian Swimming Championships
Swim Nova Scotia – Montreal, QC – The 2017 Canadian Swimming Championships came to an end today at Montreal’s Olympic Park Sports Centre with some great performances amongst Nova Scotia’s swimmers.
Isabel Sarty finished 13th today in the women’s 100m Freestyle with a 57.63, just shy of her personal best time; Sarty also finished the women’s 1500m Freestyle in 18thplace with a time of 17:59.95.
Para swimmer Danial Murphy of the Truro Centurions Swim Club finished the S5 100m Freestyle in 12th with a time of 1:29.36. Natasha Sexton Quillian of the Sackville Waves Aquatic Team finished eighth in the preliminaries of the S10 women’s 100m Freestyle with a time of 1:13.17.
