Gymnastics Canada – Media are invited to attend the 2017 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics running from Thursday, May 25 to Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Centre Claude Robillard in Montreal, QC.

Hosted by Gymnastique Québec, this event brings together over 300 of Canada’s best national level and high performance junior and senior gymnasts who will challenge for the title of Canadian Champion in men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics (MAG & WAG).

WHAT: 2017 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics

  • 2017 World Championships selection event (final step to select pool of athletes for consideration);
  • National Team Selection event;
  • First domestic competition for injured athletes: Kevin Lytwyn (Pan Am Games silver medallist); Scott Morgan (Rio Olympian); Isabela Onyshko (Rio Olympian), Ellie Black (Rio Olympian); Audrey Rousseau (2015 World Championships);
  • Full Rio 2016 Canadian Olympic team will be in attendance.
  • Several MAG NCAA athletes competing who achieved great success in the NCAA this past season (Justin Karstadt, Joel Gagnon, Aaron Mah, Sam Zakutney).
