Bowls Canada Boulingrin – Ten of Canada’s best bowlers have been nominated to make their mark on Australia’s sunny Gold Coast at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The renowned Broadbeach Bowls Club will be home to an outstanding display of bowls competition from April 5th to April 13th as the Commonwealth’s best talent competes in men’s and women’s singles, pairs, triples and fours competition.

The team will gather in Australia on March 27th to acclimatized to the greens and local atmosphere. Team Canada will practice on the greens at Broadbeach, as well as nearby club Musgrave Hill, to prepare for the Games.

“The Canadian Bowls team has proved in the past to be a competitive unit at the international level” says head coach Terry Scott. “The mission for this side is to uphold that tradition and show once again that they can be successful on the international stage.”
