Canada Soccer – Canada Soccer and Allstate Insurance Company of Canada kicked-off a massive week for Canadian soccer by announcing a new multi-year partnership, which will see Allstate Canada and its Agents across the country lending their support to Canadian soccer at every level. As all eyes turn towards Vancouver’s BC Place ahead of this Friday’s crucial Canada v Mexico 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Qualifier, Canada Soccer and Allstate Canada finalized a partnership that ensures the future of Canadian soccer will be in good hands. With the announcement, Allstate Canada becomes the official Home and Auto Insurance partner of Canada Soccer.

“We’re very proud to welcome Allstate Canada to the Canada Soccer family,” said Peter Montopoli, Canada Soccer General Secretary. “The support of our corporate partners is vital to our efforts to provide leadership for the soccer community and achieve our collective objectives from the playground to the podium. The enthusiasm demonstrated by Allstate Canada has us excited about the potential of this partnership and its ability to contribute positively to the Canadian soccer community. We look forward to collaborating on a number of initiatives.”

“This partnership is an ideal way for Allstate Canada to show our continued commitment to the communities where we live and work, by helping to provide opportunities for families to engage with the game of soccer at every level,” said Marcelo Regen, Vice President Allstate Brand. “It is a great way to help integrate our local Agents and Canada Soccer into the fabric of our communities by creating events that will allow everyone to support local players in their neighbourhoods and players representing our country on National Teams when they take the field.”

Demonstrating the company’s commitment to every level of Canadian soccer, the partnership will see Allstate Canada support Canada’s National Teams, the Amway Canadian Championship, and Ombrelle Active Start Soccer Fests.

Canada Soccer and Allstate Canada will collaborate to introduce the Allstate Good Hands® Award, which will recognize the top save of the year by the Canadian Men’s and Women’s National Team goalkeepers and the top save of the Amway Canadian Championship, as voted on by fans. In addition, fans can look forward to a number of exciting promotions and events that will bring Canadians closer to Canada’s National Teams.

To mark the announcement, Allstate hosted veteran Canadian striker and 2012 Olympic Bronze medallist Jonelle Filigno in a surprise visit at Allstate Canada’s Markham-based head office where she met with employees as part of a special soccer celebration.
