Manitoba Soccer Association – The Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA) in partnership with the Westman Region are pleased to announce the launch of the first ever C-License coaching course in the Westman Region.  This will be the third C-License run in Manitoba in 2016.  This course is in accordance with Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) and the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).

The MSA Technical Director, Marinos Papageorgopoulos, commented, “The C-License is a brand new course designed by the CSA to give coaches a real base and structure focusing on teaching and methodology.  We have already done two C-License courses in Manitoba and I have to say it has been eye opening for all coaches that have participated.  We are really excited to come out to Brandon and spread this type of education for the coaches of the Westman Region.”

Brian Cornick, President of the Brandon Youth Soccer Association (BYSA), stated, “We are looking at numerous initiatives to increase the level of soccer in our area.  Having well trained coaches is a key part of our growth plan.  In partnership with the MSA we are pleased to see this well designed course held in Brandon.  The BYSA is committed to coach education and will pay the registration fees for each coach.”
