BC Rugby Club Finals Recap and Highlights
BC Rugby – Come out and support your BC Bears for their last game of the summer. Wednesday Aug.10th at Burnaby Lake Rugby Club Kickoff is at 6:30 pm, admission is $10 at the gate.
This will be a big test for the BC Bears as they play a provincial side from New Zealand, North Otago. North Otago placed 8th last year in the Heartland Championship but had won the title in 2007 and 2010. North Otago is a big and well experienced team who had just played the CRC all star U19 team and won with a score of 50-14.

Our Age Grade Representatives teams have had lots of success at Nationals and hope to keep that winning streak alive! Last year all four of our teams won their divisions, capturing titles at the Western Championships.
This year BC will be sending our U18 boys & U18 girls for the Canadian Rugby Championships. We have two teams of U16’s and a U15 squad competing in the National Rugby Festival, the U17 boys team will be facing off against Ontario in a 3 game exhibition series. At the same time our Senior Women will be competing for the National Women’s League championship.
