March 21, 2024 (Vancouver B.C.) – B.C. Wheelchair Basketball Society is excited to announce the roster of B.C. athletes and team staff headed to Ottawa, ON, for the 2024 CWBL Women’s National Championship.

“It’s always an honour to represent B.C. at the biggest tournament the women’s game has all year,” states Tara Llanes, Senior National Team player and B.C. Breaker. “We have a good mix of players that are continually trying to teach and help each other grow. Our team is quite young and for some this will be their first time playing at women’s nationals.”

“Hopefully, it’ll be a chance to give them a bit of advice while watching them grow with each game. Some of these young women will hopefully go on to play for the national team someday so we want them to have a great experience, commented Llanes. This championship is not just a showcase of extraordinary athleticism but also a celebration of the fundamental values that define our sport.
