Ultimate Canada – August 8, 2018 —  From August 12-19, Ultimate players from all over Canada will be competing in six different divisions at the 2018 Canadian Ultimate Championship in Brampton, ON.

Brampton will play host to the junior women and open divisions from August 12-15, with the Opening Ceremonies taking place at Terry Fox Stadium in Brampton on Sunday the 12th. The Ceremonies will feature speeches, a performance from the drumline: The HITMEN, and then a showcase game featuring two of the top junior women’s teams in the country. The parade of provinces kicks off at 6:30pm, with the game starting at 7:30pm.

The junior division finals will be played at Creditview/Sandalwood park on Wednesday, August 15th. The junior women’s game will start at 4:00pm, with the junior open game starting at 6:30pm.

Following the junior competition, the adult Women’s, Open, Women’s Masters and Open Masters divisions will get into full swing on the 16th and continue through the 19th of August. The adult finals will take place on Sunday, August 19 at Terry Fox stadium. The women’s final will be played at 10:00am, followed by the Open final at 12:30pm.

The Canadian Ultimate Championships will see 88 teams compete over six divisions for national titles. 2018 will also be a qualifying year for the 2019 Pan American Ultimate Championships, the number of bids is yet to be determined.
