Media Availability with Canoe Slalom Olympic Team
Canoe Kayak Canada – The two canoe slalom paddlers who will represent Team Canada at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will host a media availability on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at their home whitewater course in downtown Ottawa. Michael Tayler and Cameron Smedley have been training at Whitewater Stadium in Rio since just after World Cups. They are home for a short break before they return to Rio for final preparations ahead of the Olympic events taking place August 7 to 11.
There will be an opportunity for on-water shots and one-on-one interviews. This will be the final media opportunity to catch Tayler and Smedley before the Games.
WHEN:
Wednesday, July 13
1 – 2 p.m.
Shots of the athletes in their boats will be available at 1 p.m. only. Interviews will follow.
