Alberta Swimmer on the verge of Canada Games history
Team Alberta – Cole Pratt of Calgary, Alberta could tie or break Canada Games record for most medals in one Games
Winnipeg, MB (August 11, 2017) – Alberta swimmer Cole Pratt could make Canada Games history this evening at the Pan Am Pool in Winnipeg.
Pratt qualified in two final events this evening; with 8 medals earned at these games, he could tie or surpass the current Canada Games record set by Ray Betuzzi, who earned 9 medals at the 2005 Canada Games in Regina.
Cole will be available for media interviews at the end of his last race. A scrum will occur after the medal ceremonies of the last race of the evening, followed by individual interviews for television only.
Only Games-accredited media will have access to the pool deck and participate in the scrum.
Out of town media will have the opportunity to participate in a conference calls, with details to follow.
Cole Pratt is bilingual, speaking French and English.
