Sport Law & Strategy Group – May 30, 2018 – MONTREAL – The Sport Law & Strategy Group is pleased to announce that lawyer Adam Klevinas has joined our team as an associate. Adam, a former national team paddler, was a widely respected lawyer with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), serving as one of the organization’s in-house legal counsels on a variety of anti-doping matters for nearly four years. Adam joins an existing group of five other associates including LeeAnn Cupidio, Kathy Hare, Jason Robinson, Kevin Lawrie, and Rosanne Tomiuk. The SLSG now has six associates and two partners, located in three cities working to provide exceptional bilingual sport management services to our clients.

The SLSG has been expanding its services over recent years in response to the increased demand from our clients. “Truth be told we have been looking to add another lawyer to our team for over two years and we couldn’t be happier that Adam has agreed to join the SLSG. Having worked alongside him on other projects I can attest to his legal skills, his commitment to excellence and his passion for sport. I believe that sport organizations will be well served by Adam and I am confident he will help our clients on a number of legal related matters,” shared SLSG partner Steve Indig.

“Having come up through the Canadian sport system as an athlete and then as a committee member at Canoe Kayak Canada, nothing makes me happier than seeing Canadian athletes and the Canadian sport system thrive,” shared Adam. “Joining SLSG to provide legal services to its clients is a great way for me to connect my passion for sport to my professional training,” he added.

Adam is a former member of Canada’s national sprint kayak team. He holds law degrees in common and civil law from McGill University, as well as degrees in journalism and political science from Concordia University. He is a member of the Quebec bar. When not chasing his three kids around, he can be found mountain biking, trail running or kayaking.
