U SPORTS Track & Field Athlete Suspended for Presence of Ephedrine
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) – (Ottawa, Ontario – March 28, 2018) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Bettina Boucher, a U SPORTS track & field athlete affiliated with Wilfrid Laurier University, received a one-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on January 13, 2018, revealed the presence of ephedrine.
