U SPORTS Football Athlete Suspended for Presence of Three Prohibited Substances
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport – (Ottawa, Ontario – June 25, 2018) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Lane Raposo, a U SPORTS football athlete affiliated with York University, received a four-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during out-of-competition doping control on September 28, 2017, revealed the presence of methenolone, boldenone (anabolic agents) and tamoxifen (hormone modulator).
