True Sport Foundation announces 2018 recipients of the sport study scholarship from the Lyle Makosky Values and Ethics in Sport Fund
True Sport Foundation – (Ottawa, Ontario – June 26, 2018) – The True Sport Foundation is pleased to announce the 2018 sport study scholarship recipients from the Lyle Makosky Values and Ethics in Sport Fund. The awards, in the amount of $2,000 each, have been awarded to Regan Taylor for her PhD study “Examining the Employee-Employer Dyad Between Professional Coaches and Volunteer Sport Boards” and Kaitlin Vanderbeek for her Master’s project “Rising to the Surface: Experiences of Elite Female Swim Coaches Gendered Influence on Career Advancement.”
