Canada Snowboard – Canadian pair win Silver at Montafon SBX Team World Cup event  

Vancouver, B.C – Under some challenging weather conditions in Montafon, AUT, Canadians Meryeta O’Dine (Prince George, BC) and Zoe Bergermann (Erin, ON) captured silver in Sunday’s women’s team Snowboardcross World Cup.
 
The Canadian riders beat out the Russian pair of Kristina Paul and Mariya Vasiltsova on their way to their first medal of the season, and came in behind the first place team from France of Chloe Trespeuch and Nelly Moenne Loccoz.
 
The Men’s team of Kevin Hill (Vernon, BC) and Baptiste Brochu (Saguenay, QC) finished within the top 10 with a 9th place result.
 
The Snowboardcross team now heads to Cervinia, Italy for one more individual World Cup race before returning home for the holiday season.
