Powerlifting Athlete Suspended for Presence of Testosterone and Nandrolone
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) – (Ottawa, Ontario – April 19, 2018) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Vahid Lotfi, a powerlifting athlete, received a four-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on February 11, 2018, revealed the presence of testosterone and nandrolone, prohibited anabolic agents.
