Nova Scotia Swimmers Ready to Race at the 2017 Canadian Junior Swimming Championships
Swim Nova Scotia – Toronto, ON– Approximately 500 young swimmers from across Canada will be competing at Toronto’s Pan Am Sports Centre from July 26-31st during the Canadian Junior Swimming Championships. Clubs from across Nova Scotia will be sending a total of 12 swimmers, who have all been named to Swim Nova Scotia’s 2017 Canada Games Swim Team.
This meet is designed to give swimmers ages 13 through 18 the opportunity to race against the best athletes in their age group in Canada.
Pool action will be held daily with competition starting at 9:00am local time for preliminaries and 5:30pm local time for finals. The open water events start at 9am July 31st; race distances include 2.5km and 5km.
