RCA – Burnaby, BC – The 2017 RCA National Rowing Championships – Canada Cup (NRC-CC), hosted by Rowing BC, wrapped up at Burnaby Lake on Sunday with over 200 athletes competing from across Canada. The regatta was held from Thursday, November 9th to Sunday, November 12th.

The Canada Cup portion provides the opportunity for Canada’s developing rowers to compete against other provinces within larger crews that include National Team Athletes originating from their home province.

In addition to the National Rowing Championships and Canada Cup, RCA celebrated the 25th anniversary of the 1992 Olympic Rowing team. Medal winning crews from the 1992 Olympic Rowing team were inducted into the Canadian Rowing Hall of Fame along with members in the coach and builder categories.

The Athlete Awards Banquet took place on Saturday, November 11th, 2017, at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown, celebrating top performers at the National Rowing Championships.
