Motivate Canada – Motivate Canada is pleased to invite diverse youth between the ages of 18 and 26 from Atlantic Canada to apply for the inaugural ViaYOUTH Atlantic leadership forum scheduled October 19^th to 21^st, 2018 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

ViaYOUTH leadership forums empower Canada’s youth to make a difference in their communities, in an engaging youth-led format.

Designed and hosted by a diverse team of Motivate Canada’s Youth-Driven Development (YDD) Pro’s, the ViaYOUTH Atlantic program will increase the connection that youth have to Canada, while addressing some of the themes and issues that matter most to young people today, including: mental and physical well-being, inclusivity, diversity, and personal and community awareness.

The 3-day forum will be hosted at St. Mary’s University in Mi’kma’ki, which is the traditional ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people. Youth and youth-serving organizations located in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador as well as Quebec are invited to apply/nominate a youth to attend. Travel subsidies are available subject to need.
