Boxing Canada – Montreal – May 4, 2018. It is with great pleasure that Boxing Canada and Boxing BC are inviting you to a press conference to announce the location of a national sporting event, the 2019 Super Channel Championships, to be held April 22nd – 27th,
2019. Following a much-anticipated return to Western Canada in 2018, the 2019 Super Channel Championships are the biggest Olympic boxing competition in the country and will regroup the Junior, Youth and Elite categories under the same
roof. A year prior to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the best boxers across Canada will face each other during a weeklong competition hoping to remain or become National Champion in their respective categories.

Boxing Canada’s partnership with Super Channel being the first Title Sponsor associated with its national competition not only increases the quality of the presentation, it also optimizes the scale and the visibility of the competition through
promotion and broadcast opportunities while elevating the credibility and popularity of Olympic boxing. Thanks to this sponsorship agreement, Super Channel actively supports the growth of boxing throughout the country.

“We are thrilled to partner with Super Channel once again to host another successful edition of the Super Channel Championships. This partnership is extremely beneficial for the development and growth of our sport in Canada.” states
Roy Halpin, Boxing Canada’s Executive Director.
