Special Olympics Québec – Montreal, March 5, 2016 – There are just a few hours to go before the closing of the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games, which took place from March 1st to 5th.

After participating in the Games, the Team Québec 2016 delegation, consisting of 51 athletes, 1 mission leader, 1 team manager, 5 operations assistants, 7 head coaches and 10 assistant coaches, for a total of 75 people, will return to Quebec this Sunday, March 6th. The sports in which they have competed so enthusiastically are Floor Hockey, Snowshoeing, Alpine Skiing, Cross-country Skiing, Speed Skating, Figure Skating and Curling.

Join the athletes’ families and supporters as they celebrate our team’s return from Corner Brook. After giving the best of themselves and enjoying an unforgettable experience, the athletes’ reunions with their families promise to be very emotional.
