Field Hockey Canada – Field Hockey Canada Announces 2018 Youth Olympic Games Roster

Field Hockey Canada officially announced the athletes nominated to represent Canada in the U18 Men’s Field Hockey competition at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games (YOG). The field hockey competition will take place October 6-14, 2018 in Buenos Aries, Argentina.
 
 
 

2018 COACHES WEEK IN CANADA

FIELD HOCKEY CANADA
HALL OF FAME

Field Hockey Canada announced today the Hall of Fame class of 2018. Kathy Broderick (Builder), Sheila Forshaw (Athlete), Margaret Lanning (Builder) and Louis Mendonca (Builder) will be inducted to the Field Hockey Canada Hall of Fame on November 18, 2018 at a ceremony held at Hart House on the beautiful University of Toronto campus.

WOMEN’S NATIONAL TEAM

After a summer of unprecedented touring and competition, the Women’s National Team is currently in Europe playing club hockey in Belgium and Netherlands. In Europe, they are getting quality club experience and training as the national team weekly as well. Stay tuned for more information about the women’s national team training and competition schedule.
 

TEAM CANADA NEXTGEN

JUNIOR WOMEN’S NATIONAL TEAM

The Junior Women’s National Team had an exceptionally busy summer. They kicked off July with a home series against Chile in Victoria. Then they took their talents on the road to challenge some of the best teams in the world in a Junior 6-Nations tournament in Antwerp, Belgium at the end of the month. In August, the group met up again for a week-long training and ID camp. Players are now training with their club, university, college and high school programs before they meet up again this fall for training camp. Read more about the Junior Women:
