Canadian Interuniversity Sport – TORONTO (CIS) – The second CIS Football Game of the Week airs on City this Saturday from Alumni Stadium as the Guelph Gryphons welcome the Western Mustangs for Homecoming in a rematch of last year’s OUA Yates Cup.

The CIS Football Game of the Week, presented by Ontario University Athletics and Atlantic University Sport, will feature four exciting matchups from Sept. 17-Oct. 15, on the road to the 52nd ArcelorMittal Dofasco Vanier Cup, to be played Nov. 26 at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton.

Playing from behind for three quarters in last season’s conference championship, the Gryphons rallied to win their first Yates Cup title since 1996 with a 23-17 victory over Western – the team’s fourth straight win over its rival.

The Mustangs have dominated the Gryphons over the years, with an all-time record of 43-15-2, including exhibition, regular season and playoff games.

The national television schedule heads to TD Stadium in the nation’s capital Oct. 1, for the annual Panda Game between the Carleton Ravens and Ottawa Gee-Gees.
