Canadian Lacrosse Association  – OTTAWA, ON – The Canadian Lacrosse Association is proud to announce a national partnership with the Canadian Red Cross, a leader in first aid and emergency preparedness products, that will benefit the health and safety of participants at all levels of Canada’s national summer sport.

 

Members of the Canadian lacrosse community will receive a 30% discount on a variety of first-aid products from the Canadian Red Cross eShop, operated by Hawktree Solutions, including complete first aid kits, as well as first aid supplies and equipment.

“The health and safety of our athletes is paramount and this partnership with the Canadian Red Cross will provide lacrosse teams from across the country with access to high-quality first-aid supplies and equipment from one of the Canada’s most reputable organizations,” said Jane Clapham, Executive Director, Canadian Lacrosse Association.

Partnering with a national amateur sports governing body is something representatives from the Canadian Red Cross were equally excited about.

“We are very pleased to be able to provide first aid product solutions for lacrosse teams and players across Canada through the Canadian Lacrosse Association at discount prices,” said Rob Fraser, President of Hawktree Solutions and Red Cross Products. “Having the Red Cross global leading brand linked with one of Canada’s official national sports is a great connection that will benefit CLA members across the country.”

The new partnership extends to the Canadian high performance program as well, thanks to ZOLL Medical Corporation, which donated a pair of Zoll Plus Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to the national office.

“The generous donation from ZOLL will ensure that the medical staff for each of our national teams will have their very own AED on-site at all events, eliminating the need to rent a unit or rely on the one provided by the venue,” added Clapham.

Members of the Canadian lacrosse community can access the Canadian Red Cross eShop discount starting today by following these simple steps:

·     Visit https://products.redcross.ca/register/canadian-lacrosse-association to create an eShop account

·     Enter the CLA’s Registration Key (28552) into the registration form

·     Log into your account before making any purchases

Once your account is activated, the 30% discount will be automatically applied to all items in your cart at checkout, with the exception of AED’s and training products.  Only accounts created using the CLA’s Registration Key (28552) will have access to the discount, so it is vital that you sign up using the link above.
