Canada’s Swimming Stars Gather for Trials in Edmonton

Swimming Canada will select and announce its pool teams for next month’s Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo and the Pan Pacific Para Swimming Championships in Cairns, Australia.
The fully integrated national championship meet runs through Sunday at the Kinsmen Sports Centre and will feature 404 athletes from 105 clubs from across Canada, with visiting competitors from France, Peru, Thailand, Singapore, Scotland and the U.S.
Rio 2016 medallists Kennedy Goss, Benoit Huot, Kylie Masse, Penny Oleksiak, Emily Overholt, Aurelie Rivard, Katarina Roxon, Tess Routliffe, Taylor Ruck and Nicolas-Guy Turbide are expected to be in action.
