Sunday, August 5: Marin Cilic Clinic for FILA
FILA, Official Footwear and Apparel Provider for Rogers Cup presented by National Bank & Coupe Rogers, will host a special on-court clinic and Q&A session with World No. 7 Marin Cilic and Toronto-area junior tennis players at Rogers Cup, as part of the 407 ETR Free Community Weekend.

Sunday, August 5: Sportsnet Ball Hockey Challenge presented by Knapper
Current and former NHL stars including Jason Spezza, Darnelle Nurse and Mark Scheifele plus members of the Canadian Olympic team will face off with ATP stars as Stadium Court is turned into a ball hockey rink. The Sportsnet Ball hockey challenge presented by Knapper includes a shoot-out challenge and a friendly game. 

Sunday, August 5: Game. Set. Match. Daniel Nestor retirement celebration
Accredited media are invited to join Tennis Canada as we celebrate the extraordinary career of Daniel Nestor. The event will be a world-class show presented in two parts at the prestigious Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto – a star-studded, hilarious roast of Daniel by fellow ATP players followed by an emotional induction into the Canadian Tennis Hall of Fame.  Media are welcome to attend the show from 7:30 pm. Monday, August 6: Honouring Anne Marie D’Amico
The Rogers Cup is planning to honour the life and service of Anne Marie D’Amico, a longstanding member of its volunteer programme, who tragically lost her life in the Toronto van attack in April. The D’Amico family will be honoured with a Distinguished Service Award during the night session on Monday, August 6. Tennis Canada will also announce that it will launch a scholarship and volunteer service award in Anne Marie’s name.  An annual scholarship of $2500 will be awarded to a ball kid in both Toronto and Montreal to be used towards higher education, funded by a donor.
 
Wednesday, August 8: Bob Bedard ceremony
 
Rogers Cup will honour Bob Bedard to celebrate the 60th anniversary of his singles title at the 1958 Canadian Championships, the last Canadian man to lift the trophy on home soil. The three-time Canadian Open singles champion will be present to receive a special plaque from Tennis Canada.
 
Saturday, August 11: Daniel Nestor Hall of Fame induction ceremony
 
Legendary Canadian Doubles Player Daniel Nestor will be inducted to the Canadian Tennis Hall of Fame in a public ceremony on Stadium Court prior to the 8pm ATP men’s singles semi-final.

The Canadian University Tennis Championships will be held on-site at Rogers Cup. This year, the men’s event will take place in Toronto, August 11th – 12th from 10.30am
