Project Manager/Developer
The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure professional development services to update three NCCP multisport modules in English and in French: Design a Basic Sport Program, Planning a Practice and Advanced Practice Planning.
To enhance the functionality of the multisport modules, we are looking for an experienced contractor. The following are the modules earmarked for updates:
- Designing a Basic Sport Program: This module serves as the foundation for athletes’ development. It outlines fundamental principles and structures essential for effective training regimens in a seasonal plan.
- Performance Planning: This module delves into the intricacies of optimizing athletes’ performance through strategic yearly planning. The contractor will revamp this module to incorporate cutting-edge strategies and tools for goal setting, performance assessment, and progress tracking. Emphasis will be placed on enhancing athletes’ ability to set and achieve ambitious performance targets.
- Advanced Practice Planning: Catering to coaches seeking to elevate their athletes’ skills to the next level for achieving peak performance. This module focuses on advanced training methodologies, advanced session planning and tapering to ensure athletes achieve peak performances.
The contractor will collaborate closely with the CAC team and other sports partners to implement updates based on insights gained from previous consultations.
