Call for Mentee Applications: Apply to the Coaching Association of Canada’s High Performance Women in Coaching Mentorship Program
The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) is pleased to announce the launch of the next intake for the High Performance Women in Coaching Mentorship Program. The program supports women coaches in high performance sport environments using mentorship to drive leadership development and community building.
A national call for Mentee applications is now open to women who have high performance coaching experience. Coaches are invited to apply before the June 17th deadline.
Program Goal
Support and develop high-performance women coaches in the sport community, including within colleges and universities.
Eligibility Requirements
Mentee Coaches
- Open to all women (cis and trans women) and non-binary people
- Experience coaching in a high-performance sport environment
High-performance is inclusive of post-secondary, national or provincial level team involvement, and/or NCCP Competition-Development certified
- Currently obtain and/or pursuing Registered Coach license or Chartered Professional Coach designation
Must obtain by October 31, 2024
Time Commitment: September 2024 to December 2025
- Regular communication and monthly meetings with assigned mentor
- Participation in and completion of all program activities
Application Process
- Review the program guidelines
- Complete the application form, including one reference and a sport-specific resume
Application Deadline: All applications must be submitted by June 17, 2024 at 5PM ET.
