Canada’s best women’s curling teams will be heading to Thunder Bay, Ont., for the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in January.

Media accreditation requests are now being accepted for the 2022 Scotties, which is scheduled for Jan. 28-Feb. 6 at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay.

Media will be admitted into the building for the 2022 Scotties, but must, as per Curling Canada’s Mandatory Vaccine policy, provide proof of full vaccination administered no later than Jan. 14. This proof must be submittedin advance to media@curling.ca by no later than Jan. 24There will be absolutely no exceptions to this requirement, other than for those who have previously been accredited for 2021-22 Curling Canada events.

Additionally, media will be required to wear masks in the building. Socially distanced interviews with players will be permitted. Where possible, phone/Zoom interviews can also be set up for media not in attendance.

Those requesting credentials must also email a high-resolution mugshot of themselves to media@curling.ca.

Media travelling from outside of Ontario should be aware of any restrictions, which can be viewed by CLICKING HERE.

For accommodation options in Thunder Bay, media members can CLICK HERE. There will be limited transportation options between the Valhalla Inn and the Fort William Gardens, but space is limited. Media members are urged to book their rooms quickly.

Please note:On-ice photographers will be required to wear black clothing and shoes and restrict themselves to designated shooting areas during the games. There will be no exceptions to this guideline. CLICK HERE to review photography guidelines.
