HOCKEY CANADA MEDIA RECAP: Para Series (Thursday)
Para Series – Bridgewater, N.S., Nov. 13-19, 2021
BRIDGEWATER, N.S. – A four-goal first period led Canada’s National Para Hockey Team to a third-consecutive win, defeating Korea 7-0 Thursday afternoon at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.
· Tyler McGregor (Forest, Ont.) had a four-point game, finishing with a goal and three assists.
· Liam Hickey (St. John’s, N.L.) added two goals and an assist.
· Greg Westlake (Toronto, Ont.) also had a three-point effort with a goal and two helpers.
· Rob Armstrong (Erin, Ont.), Adam Dixon (Midland, Ont.) and Zach Lavin (Essex, Ont.) rounded out the scoring.
· Billy Bridges (Summerside, P.E.I.) added three assists.
· Dominic Larocque (Quebec City, Que.) turned aside five shots to record his second shutout of the series.
· Canada outshot Korea 35-5.

“You know, I saw a lot of good things today. I think this was our best game so far and I just liked the way the guys played unselfishly. They were looking for each other on plays, sometimes a little bit too much, but at least they’re moving the puck around, trying to share the puck with each other and not trying to do it individually. I think over the week, we’ve built a little bit of chemistry and got off to a quick start, which was pretty important for our whole group.”
