Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team (CANWNT) will face FIFA’s 31st-ranked Mexico on Saturday 1 June (14.00 ET) in Montréal, Quebec, and again on Tuesday 4 June (19.30 ET) for a special Pride Celebration Match in Toronto, Ontario. Both matches can be watched live on OneSoccer.

The two-match series, co-presented by CIBC and Visa, is a crucial part of Canada’s preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and represents the final opportunity for fans to show their support for CANWNT before they represent our nation on the global stage this summer.

“We’re really excited as the Olympics draw closer and can’t wait to play one last time in front of our amazing fans on home soil. Mexico is a great side and just the test we need as we edge closer to finalizing an Olympic roster and continue to build on our principles and approach heading into Paris,” shared Bev Priestman, Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team Head Coach.

Priestman has named a 24-player squad for the series against Mexico, with the addition of one training player in Allysha Chapman. This roster represents the last selection before the 2024 Olympic Team is finalized. Notably, Canada maintains a strong overall record of 22 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses against Mexico in 27 encounters.

The ‘Summer Send-Off Series’ kicks off a massive summer of soccer for Canadian fans. Following the two-match series Canada Soccer’s Women’s National Team will head to France for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as they look to defend their Tokyo 2020 Olympic Gold medal. They will face the hosts, France, Colombia, and New Zealand during the Group Stage of the tournament running from 24 July through 10 August.
