Oct. 06, 2022: Canada wrapped up pool play at the NORCECA Men’s U21 Pan American Cup in Havana, Cuba with a win over the host country on Wednesday night.

Cuba won the opening set, but Canada prevailed 1-3 (25-22, 23-25, 23-25,17-25) to have a 3-0 record in group B and advance directly to the semi-finals on October 7.

Cuba’s Alejandro Miguel González led all scoring with 24 points; Canada’s Reeve Gingera led Canada’s efforts with 19 points, including four from the service line.

Canada beat Nicaragua and Haiti earlier in the week, both in scores of 3-0.
