Trauma Informed Approaches to Complaints and Investigations (Webinar)

Durant Barristers and Gillian Hnatiw and Co. are pleased to host a one hour Webinar on “Trauma Informed Approaches to Complaints and Investigations” on June 28 from 12 noon – 1 pm EST. The cost is $40 + HST. You can register online here.

This Webinar will be of interest to employers, human resources professionals, amateur and professional sports associations, universities, colleges and others who regularly receive and have to administer complaints involving maltreatment, abuse, harassment, sexual harassment and bullying. The goal of the session is to provide participants with information on the ways in which a trauma-informed process benefits all parties to an investigation. These include ensuring procedural fairness, avoiding the re-victimization of complainants, and to identifying common pitfalls in administering complaints and investigations.

Erin Durant of Durant Barristers will host Anna Matas of Gillian Hnatiw and Co. for a practical discussion of best practices, things to avoid and how to ensure your process is trauma informed and fair to all parties involved. We look forward to hosting you!
