The Winnipeg Goldeyes Host Baseball Manitoba’s Grand Slam Jamboree on Baseball Manitoba Day
Baseball Manitoba – On Saturday, July 6 at Shaw Park the Winnipeg Goldeyes will help us celebrate Baseball Manitoba Day and the 2019 Grand Slam (9U) Jamboree. The Goldeyes will be wearing special Baseball Manitoba uniforms and hats as they face off against the St. Paul Saints at 6PM.
As members of Baseball Manitoba, amateur teams are invited to help celebrate this day and another summer of exciting Goldeyes baseball. Grand Slam teams will be chosen to participate in games throughout the day at Shaw Park, and then all teams are welcome to take part in a parade around the infield before the Goldeyes game in the evening.
Grand Slam is the official 9U program for Baseball Manitoba. The Grand Slam Program is designed to promote physical development of children through the game of baseball. The program helps develop physical literacy by using a modified game to teach the basic baseball skills to children and ensure success.
