Today is a practice day for archery and judo, but all other sports are competing: alpine ski, badminton, cross country and para nordic ski, curling, figure skating, gymnastics – trampoline, women’s hockey, snowboard, and squash.

Story/Interview Opportunities

Athletes/Teams/Coaches To Watch

  1. Week two competition kicked off with a win in women’s hockey. Team Manitoba shut out Team Saskatchewan 3-0.
  2.  The women’s curling team defeated Team Newfoundland & Labrador 5-4, while the men’s team fell to Team Newfoundland & Labrador 5-3.

    Team Toba curling is a family affair! Twin brothers Adam and Sean Flatt are playing together on the men’s team, and  sisters Hayley and Payton Bergman are playing together on the women’s team. 

  3. Archer Bryanne Lameg’s first match is tomorrow, Feb 26, at 9 a.m. in the compound individual female competition. Lameg  is the reigning Canadian outdoor target archery champion and has been selected to represent Canada at the Pan Am Games in 2019 in Lima, Peru in the women’s compound division.
