It has been quite the past few months hasn’t it? Fortunately for golfers, courses have responded with solutions that allow continued enjoyment of the sport we love so much while staying safe. On the Vancouver Island Golf Trail, 100% of our golf courses will be open for public play by the end of this week and that means fourteen options for a BC golf staycation on the Vancouver Island Golf Trail this summer!

Island Time Incentives

At the time of this newsletter, the BC provincial health officer has yet to announce a transition to Phase 3 of British Columbia’s re-opening plan, so travel for non-essential purposes is still not recommended.. That shouldn’t keep you from planning a summer golf trip, however, until such an announcement is made, we encourage you to visit and play your local golf courses.

If you’re a Vancouver Island resident, consider staying on the island for a golf staycation this year and getaway to one of our four golf regions on the Vancouver Island Golf Trail to support your local courses. If you don’t live on Vancouver Island, but would like to do a golf trip once travel is deemed okay, our warm and friendly communities will welcome you to play on island time this summer.

Conditions for Island Time Incentives. To qualify for Island Time Incentives, bookings must have a minimum of two people golfing for a minimum of three rounds each and staying for a minimum of two nights. The maximum value may not exceed $225 CAD. Limited quantities available, offer may expire at any time.
