Toronto, Ont. – The start times for the 2022 RBC Canadian Open Championship Pro-Am at St. George’s Golf & Country Club for Wednesday, June 8 have been released.
 
The event will see 104 professional golfers take to the renowned St. George’s Golf & Country Club to entertain a field of 208 amateurs as part of the PGA TOUR’s ‘Nine and Nine’ Pro-Am format where amateur participants will play nine holes each with a pair of PGA TOUR professionals. Click here for player start times.
 
OPENING CEREMONY
The Opening Ceremony for the 2022 RBC Canadian Open will take place at 6:15 a.m. ET on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the First Tee Grandstand at St. George’s Golf and Country Club. Representatives from RBC and Golf Canada will deliver opening remarks along with a blessing from Elder Kim Wheatley. The National Anthem will be performed by First Up RBCxMusic featured artist Zenesoul, and the Canadian Forces SkyHawks will deliver the ceremonial ball to St. George’s Golf & Country Club as the official kick-off to the 111th playing of Canada’s National Men’s Open Championship.

GOLF CANADA WALK WITH A PRO
Golf Canada is welcoming several Youth on Course participants and local junior golfers to the 2022 RBC Canadian Open to join PGA TOUR professionals on The Rink hole No. 16 during Wednesday’s Championship Pro-Am. “Walk with a Pro” offers youth the chance of a lifetime – to carry a professional’s putter or bag and maybe even take the pro’s first putt.

The 2022 RBC Canadian Open is also part of The Open Championship Qualifying Series. The top-2 finishers at the RBC Canadian Open (not otherwise exempt) earn a spot in the field of The 150th Open Championship, July 10-17, 2022, at St Andrews in Fife, Scotland.
