Winnipeg, MB – Dive Manitoba is excited and couldn’t be more proud to announce that Juan Campuzano is the recipient for the Sport Manitoba 2022 Manitoba Hydro Janet Arnott Memorial Coaching Award!

Juan was a very successful diving coach in his hometown of Cali, Colombia for 10 years and decided to spread his wings and coach abroad, choosing Revolution Diving in Winnipeg as his home club.  Since arriving in Winnipeg, Juan has mentored and supported many club coaches at Revolution Diving, bringing with him and teaching the clubs developing coaches a large diversity of creative drills and exercises for the development for very young divers on the high-performance pathway.  Juan has since coached at many national championships including the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games and the upcoming 2022 Canada Summer Games.

“I am very happy and humbled to receive this award.  Diving is a passion I have for so many years, and it is truly a great honour to be recognized for this.” says Juan.  “I am so happy to be part of the Manitoba coaching community and grateful to be selected for this award.”

Dive Manitoba President Peter Bernatsky added “I’m thrilled to see Juan receive this award, it is great recognition for his contribution to the sport of diving in Manitoba!”

Says Juan “I look forward to continuing to coaching for Revolution Diving for many more years!”
