Sport Law & Strategy Group Blogs About Mentoring, Femtoring, and Beyond

February 9, 2021 – The Sport Law & Strategy Group (SLSG) is committed to sharing relevant knowledge to sport leaders using a variety of mediums including newsletters, webinars, workshops, keynotes, educational sessions, and blogs.

When leaders offer up their invaluable time to teach, guide, and nurture future generations of sport leaders, what we call “mentorship” can create empowering, lifelong alliances. In this invitation to open conversation, SLSG Partner Dina Bell-Laroche shares her own mentorship experiences to explain the different approaches she uses working in alliance with others. This blog offers a thoughtful exploration on the use of language to describe a holistic experience. Inviting “femtoring” into our conversations allows more room for wholeness and a different energy arises as a result. Beyond the strategic mind, this quality of experience speaks to ‘soul work’. Dina leaves readers feeling inspired and ready to take the next steps as they commit to more open conversations with others.
